Rashay Daya is a Manager in Risk Advisory (Sustainability) at Deloitte and Touché and an ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor. He joined the firm on 01 May 2021.
Before joining Deloitte, Rashay previously worked as an Environmental Auditor/Consultant at well reputable firms. He is passionate about the environment we live in and wants to help sustain it for future generations to enjoy. He has a strong understanding of scientific principles which he uses on environmental financial provisioning projects. His understanding of Environmental Management coupled with his knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems gives him a great understanding of potential environmental rehabilitation financial provisioning risks a client my face.
He has also worked as a GIS Manager for a surveying company where he was tasked with creating maps for clientele to show them valuable information about a particular geographic location for rehabilitation. He has also worked with artificial intelligence technology through satellite data where he has assisted clients solve problems regarding rehabilitation. Rashay possesses many skills concerning technology which is key for rehabilitating the environment.
