The scent of ylang ylang floats through this refined colonial-style hotel and its 25-acre tropical gardens. Although over time it has lost some of its lovely white sand beach to erosion, its old-school luxury remains. The lobby is grandiose with colonnades and the rooms are elegant and understated.
