The South African Poultry Association warns of further increases in egg and chicken prices due to the ongoing avian flu outbreak.
Since April 2023, when South Africa first reported the Avian Flu, poultry prices have surged.
While frozen chicken remains marginally less expensive, other poultry products have seen price hikes ranging from R3 to R15.
