Youngest Muslim female solo traveller, global change maker arrives Gambia

With a mission to promote the Bangladeshi Green passport, she encourages women and youth worldwide to embrace travel while advocating for gender equality, peace, and human rights.

Her unique travel themes, “Fun Way to Learn” and “Green & Clean World,” resonate with her impactful journey across 145 countries. She has travelled to Europe, America, Asia, Africa and some Arab countries.

Asma’s journey has touched the lives of nearly 50,000 youth, students, and women across 700 schools, colleges, and universities. She inspires them to dream big, explore the world, and champion causes that matter.

As the first youngest female South Asian solo traveller to visit over 145 countries, Asma has marked significant milestones. Celebrating her 100th country, Turkmenistan, she initiated a global tree plantation campaign, planting trees in every country she visits. Her effort is also in promoting environmental sustainability.

In an Interview with The Point during her visit to The Gambia, Asma stated that she established the “Inspiring Youth” library and language club in Khulna, Bangladesh, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment.

Her role as a Rotarian has seen her visiting over 100 Rotary clubs worldwide, fundraising for Rotary, the Red Cross, and numerous organisations aiding underprivileged communities and disaster-affected regions. Her dedication extends to volunteering with the United Nations and the Star Key Hearing

Her contributions have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Best Travel Influencer Award 2022, Women’s Conclave Award 2022 (India), and the Grand Queens Club Global Leadership Awards as a Peace Traveller. Asma’s influence is further amplified through media appearances on BBC Bangla Radio, German Radio, Voice of America, China Radio, and many more.

Among her notable achievements, Asma treasures her meeting with Ban Ki-moon, the former Secretary-General of the United Nations. Her involvement with the Rotary International Travel & Hosting Fellowship and the Rotary People of Action Group Against Slavery underscores her commitment to global service and advocacy.

Kazi Asma Azmery’s indicated that her journey is a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and a vision for a better world.
