GTA Conference 2024 Set to drive Tech Innovation Across Africa

The highly anticipated Global Tech Africa (GTA) Conference 2024 is poised to drive significant tech innovation across the continent.

Scheduled to take place from July 24 to 26, 2024, at the Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, the conference returns for its second year with the theme: “Global Collaborations, Local Transformations.”

GTA, the foremost platform for collaboration between African and international tech stakeholders, aims to foster connections, dialogues, and partnerships that will propel the growth of Africa’s tech ecosystem. This initiative, spearheaded by the Future Map Foundation and executed by Ascend Studios Foundation, enjoys support from key partners including the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), the United States Consulate, Venture Garden Group, IHS Towers, American Business Council, and Business Sweden.

Unlike any other tech conference, GTA serves as a melting pot for government representatives, investors, founders, policymakers, development partners, academia, inventors, and tech enthusiasts invested in Africa’s burgeoning tech scene.

The maiden edition of GTA in 2023 successfully hosted over 3,500 participants, 51 speakers, and 12 international delegates. Building on this success, the 2024 conference is set to be even larger, with an anticipated attendance of 10,000 participants and delegates from Nigeria, Africa, Europe, and North America.

Highlights of GTA 2024:

Expanded Venue and Stages: The event will feature three stages: the Epicenter (main stage) for VVIP guests, international delegates, and keynote speakers; the Start-up Stage showcasing leading African startups from various sectors such as Edtech, Healthtech, AgricTech, and FinTech; and the Tech Naija Club, dedicated to the future of Africa, which will be officially launched at GTA.
GTA Deal Room: Powered by One Africa, this platform will unlock investment opportunities, providing investors and international companies with unique access to some of Africa’s most promising startups and potential partners.
Regional and International Delegations: The conference will host delegations from South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda, alongside international partners and delegates from Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
