FIFA has released the latest world rankings, with African nations learning their new places.
FIFA have now released the latest world rankings, with the 10 best teams in Africa also being revealed.
Morocco maintain their place as the highest-ranked team on the continent, but have dropped two positions in the overall standing, moving from 12th place to 14th.

Behind them are 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winners Senegal, who moved down to 19th. They are followed by Egypt, who retain their place at 36th in the world.
The most recent AFCON hosts and winners Ivory Coast are in 38th place and Nigeria – who are one spot behind them – make up the rest of the top five CAF nations.
Bafana Bafana, meanwhile, rose from 59th to 57th spot, and are the only African side currently occupying the top 10 to have moved up in rank.
Here are the top 10 teams on the continent today, according to FIFA:

2. Senegal (19th)
3. Egypt (36th)
4. Ivory Coast (38th)
5. Nigeria (39th)
6. Tunisia (41st)
7. Algeria (46th)
8. Cameroon (51st)
9. Mali (53rd)
10. South Africa (57th)
In terms of the overall rankings, 2024 Copa America champions Argentina, France, and 2024 UEFA European Championship winners Spain make up the three best teams in the world.
La Furia Roja’s latest continental triumph this month saw them move up a whopping five positions since the release of the previous rankings.
