The chimera of the alleged participation of the pseudo ‘SADR’ in African summits

The chimera of the alleged participation of the pseudo ‘SADR’ in African summits

It should also be recalled that a few months ago, on 4 June 2024, Seoul hosted the first summit between the Republic of Korea and Africa.

These three crucial events, in which all African countries participated, were a resounding success and generated extremely positive results for peace, stability and the sustainable and socio-economic development of African countries, both individually and collectively. Morocco, in accordance with the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, contributed extensively and actively to the success of these events, to the benefit of brotherly African countries.

In these three meetings with African participation, and in many others, particularly with the United States, Russia, India and Turkey, the pseudo ‘SADR’ (Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic) was neither invited nor recognised, despite political pressure from Algeria and the billions of Algerian taxpayer dollars it wastes to promote its illegitimate progeny.

The reason is clear: a chimerical entity that exists neither in international law nor in the community of nations can in no way figure or participate in partnerships between sovereign countries.

For the TICAD (Tokyo International Conference on African Development, 23-25 August 2024), whose Japanese organiser does not recognise the pseudo ‘SADR’ and has never invited it, Algerian diplomacy resorted to fraud, forgery and the use of false documents, in addition to barbaric physical aggression, in order to give the false illusion that the fictitious entity participated in this event.

However, it has been reported that the separatist representatives entered Tokyo with Algerian passports and visas and entered the meeting room with accreditations of the Algerian delegation. The pseudo-entity never appeared on the list of participants.

The result of the Algerian deception was that TICAD was a total failure. Algeria caused the African continent to miss an important opportunity to further promote its development. African countries must hold it culpable and solely responsible. The sorry spectacle orchestrated by Algerian diplomacy in Tokyo did Africa no credit whatsoever and gave a bleak picture of the African continent.

The success of Africa’s partnerships, particularly with China, Korea and Indonesia, is the result of its respect for international legality, especially the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of African countries. This demonstrates the justness of Morocco’s cause and the decadence of Algeria’s insidious manoeuvres.

The successful holding of the Beijing, Seoul and Bali summits, with the exclusive presence of African countries that are members of the United Nations, completely nullifies Algeria’s fallacious propaganda. It has shown once again that Algeria’s claims about the involvement of the pseudo ‘SADR’ in African partnerships are nothing but lies and fabrications to sell illusions to its own citizens, as well as to the populations it has been abducting and persecuting for five decades in the camps of shame in Tindouf.

Algeria’s imposition, deception and insidious manoeuvres in no way change the immutable reality that the puppet entity is not recognised, not legitimate and not at all welcome in the associations of the African continent.

African associations cannot be reduced to meetings. Their essence and raison d’être lie in the implementation on the ground of projects and cooperation programmes with partners. Therefore, the presence of a fictitious, unrecognised, non-territorial entity, run by Algeria from Algeria’s territory, is of no interest to Africa’s partners and cannot be acceptable or even imaginable.

For Africa to continue on its path towards prosperity, stability and development, especially with its international partners, it must definitively rid itself of this cancer created and maintained by Algeria to the detriment of the best interests of the continent and its 54 member states.

The implementation of Africa’s partnerships, especially with China, Korea, Indonesia and Japan, raises three questions:

To Algeria: it is an acknowledgement of the resounding failure of its illegal machinations that seriously undermine the unity and development of the African continent. It is also a recognition that Morocco’s resounding successes, achieved thanks to the enlightened vision and high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in particular the international recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara, including by the major powers, the opening of consulates general of a large number of countries in the southern provinces, and the massive international support for the Moroccan autonomy plan as the only solution to this regional dispute, are irrefutable and irrevocable. Moreover, it is a recognition that Algeria’s unhealthy agitations cannot change the realities on the ground: those of the historical, legal, diplomatic and human foundations of the Sahara’s Moroccanness.
To the African countries: it is the realisation that the various partnerships in Africa cannot, under any circumstances, take place outside international legality. It is also the realisation that Algeria’s serious acts threaten the stability and development of the continent, and that African countries must form a common front to counter and put an end to them.
To Japan: it is the realisation that it must opt for clarity and firmness in order for TICAD to definitively rid itself of the Algerian disturbances and regain the serenity that prevails in other African associations.
