We will be needing a Super Over to decide the winner and guess what Bilal Khan is bowling for Oman and not Mehran Khan who gave away just four runs in the final over when five was needed.

Namibia vs Oman preview, T20 World Cup Group B: Namibia lock horns against Oman in the third match of the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados on Sunday, which is Monday early morning in India. Both teams are gearing up for their third appearance in a T20 World Cup. However, this will be just for the first time that the two teams will lock horns in the T20 World Cup in itself.
Namibia will be led by Gerhard Erasmus, who had also led the side in 2022 in Australia. Meanwhile, there’s been leadership change at Oman, with Aqib Iyas replacing Zeeshan Maqsood as Oman captain.
Namibia have experience to show, with the likes of David Wiese and JJ Smit in the squad. Both the all-rounders can be handy when it comes to pressure situations, and can even deliver with the bat in the death overs. Wiese also has the experience of having played in several T20 leagues previously, including the IPL and PSL, along with The Hundred tournament in England.
Also another key player to keep an eye on as far as Namibia are concerned is Jan Frylinck. Frylinck was the star of Namibia’s famous win over Sri Lanka in the 2022 T20 World Cup, scoring 44 runs and taking two wickets.
He will be a threat that Oman will have to be vary about. Oman themselves have an in-form skipper in Aqib Ilyas, who scored an unbeaten half-century against Afghanistan in a warm-up match recently. Ilyas had also scored an unbeaten 62 against Hong Kong in April, during the ACC Premier Cup, where he also ended as the top wicket-taker with 12 scalps.
Bilal Khan and Zeeshan Maqsood, Oman’s top two wicket-takers, will lead their bowling attack whereas Naseem Khushi, Pakistan-born cricketer adds flexibility to the top-order batting.
