In Madagascar, thousands of protesters are calling for the president and prime minister to step down. This comes as the opposition says it will no longer negotiate over new election laws.
Uganda is home to some 1.4 million refugees, many from South Sudan. But a $300 million shortfall in aid relief is making it harder to meet their needs.
And in Sudan, new tombs have been uncovered deep inside a pyramid in the north. The archaeological breakthrough may unlock the secrets to the reign of an ancient Nubian king.
